I am proud to announce Stop & Shop’s Store Managers of the Year from the North, Central, and South Markets. We have a lot of great managers that are going above and beyond to connect with our customers, engage our associates and drive sales – so choosing just one from each Market wasn’t easy. These three were chosen based on both qualitative and quantitative measures, as we looked at everything from leadership qualities to community involvement to sales.
Please join me in congratulating these winners:
In the North, we chose Mike Farrell of Store 475 in Harwich, MA. A store manager for 36 years, Mike is a great coach and has served as a mentor to District 312 for associates and other store managers.
For Central, the honor goes to Bob Jones of Store 782 in Feeding Hills, MA. Bob is a great leader who drives associate engagement and makes it fun. His focus on the customer has made real progress, as his store’s associate engagement scores went up a full six points from 2016.
Finally, Vincent Anzano from Store 2585 in Springfield Gardens, NY is the Store Manager of the Year from the South Region. Vinny has been very active in the local community, and has worked with Local Civic Leaders, Schools, Churches and the NYPD’s 113th Precinct. He’s done such a great job, that at the end of 2017, Vinny took on the temporary role of Center Store Sales Manager for District 338.
These three managers represent the best we can be in our stores. Please join me in congratulating them all.
